Business Development Manager – AOAO

Job Summary:

The primary role of this Business Development position is to prospect for new clients by utilizing their existing network, centers of influence and other means to generate new leads and business. They must plan and develop persuasive approaches that will convince potential clients to do business with our agency. This will include collaborating and working effectively with various agency unit expertise such as Property & Casualty, Benefits, AOAO and Risk/Claims Fee Services. They are also required to assist in growing and retaining existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree required. College degree highly preferred.
  • Proven sales work experience required.
  • P&C insurance knowledge, experience and/or training preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training or related work experience will be considered.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Property & Casualty Solicitors License required.
  • CPCU, CIC or other Property/Casualty designations preferred.

Annual Salary Range:

  • $58,500 ~ $64,350 (plus commission). Commensurate with experience.
