Serves in the role of In-house customer care specialist. Collects and processes endorsements.  Provides service to agents and customers by handling policy inquiries, changes, quotes and billing inquiries over the telephone, walk-in or email.  Saves and retains existing policyholders by conducting outbound calls.

Respond to all existing client inquiries. Process existing client requests for new, rewrite, endorse and cancellation transactions to retain clients and to leverage time for acquiring new clients.  Proactive support of new business effort by rounding accounts and obtain new referral sources.

Trains to become proficient in underwriting and marketing renewals for commercial lines accounts in accordance with agency’s policies and procedures and handles a minimum book size. Assists and supports with placing, maintaining, expanding and servicing small business accounts and commercial line accounts.

Manages the overall planning, budgeting, production and coordination of the Island Insurance Company (“Island”) marketing plan. Oversee technology and media aspects of Marketing/Agency Relations, including but not limited to development and management of social media content calendars and posting schedules, analyzing social media metrics, website management, campaign development (digital, print, broadcast), collaboration with public relations vendors, and collaboration with product development teams in support of the Island Insurance corporate marketing plan. Oversee the execution of larger campaigns and promotions in addition to providing support to group accounts. Oversee and manage all Marketing/Agency Relations Consultants and Assistants.

Provides administrative and operational assistance to the various claim department units which include operational support to the adjusters and supervisors, generating supervisory reports,

Supports Independent Agents and/or House Accounts with minimal supervision. Assists clients with their policies via phone, email inquiry or walk in. Accurately and promptly submits endorsement and cancellation material to insurance companies in accordance with each carrier’s requirements. Accurately and promptly enters new business, endorsement and cancellation policy data into the Agency Management System in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Processes transactions in a professional manner that minimizes Atlas’ Errors and Omissions exposure.
