The Tradewind Group Summer Internship Program is an excellent opportunity for students to gain exposure to different career opportunities within the Tradewind Group family of companies! Our family of companies offer opportunities for those interested in insurance, private equity, real estate, accounting, information technology, human resources, and business administration.

Interns will work closely and network with a variety of insurance professionals throughout the organization.  The objective of the Summer Internship Program is to provide formalized training and learning opportunities to different aspects of business beginning with a rotation within our family of companies.   Interns will then gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training within one of the companies to get a more focused and deeper perspective.  During the program, interns will have the opportunity to work on a project for the company which will further expand and solidify their knowledge and experience gained during the 8-week program.  

Interns who successfully complete the Summer Internship Program will be evaluated for potential future employment opportunities within the Tradewind Group family of companies.

Program Details

• 8-week program will run June 2026 – August 2026 
• Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday 
  • 9:00am – 4:00pm 
  • 30 hours max per week; times could slightly vary on occasion
• Paid internship 
• Offices are located in Downtown Honolulu and Kalihi
• Interns are required to arrange their own transportation; parking or bus pass may be provided on a limited basis

 Requirements

• Student attending an accredited college/university in their junior or senior year preferred; sophomore students and recent college graduates may also be considered
• Grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale
• Demonstrated leadership throughout high school and college careers
• Genuine desire and interest in exploring the industries within our family of companies
• Critical thinker with good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
• Technical proficiency

Salary: $18.00 Hourly
