Summary:

Underwrite new and renewal Personal and Commercial Property & Casualty business within Contract carrier’s established guidelines, with emphasis on production.  Take a lead role in the direction of an underwriting team including the development of, collaboration with, and training of assigned underwriters.  Establish strong relationships with agents and agency staff and assist and provide them with presentations and training.  Provide support to management on projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• College degree required.
• 4 to 5 years multi-line underwriting experience required.  Excess & Surplus underwriting and/or brokering experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, technical and sales background experience will be considered
• Hawaii Resident Producers and Surplus Lines Broker Licenses required (or attainment of).
• IIA, CIC/CRM, CPCU or other designations preferred.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually
