To help deliver on this, we are currently seeking a talented professional to lead the Human Resources (HR) operations team.   The Director, Human Resources Operations will be adept in collaborating with senior leadership to develop and execute human resources strategies, policies, and programs that foster employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness across our family of companies.  Reporting to and working in tandem with the Chief Human Resources Officer, this position serves as a senior HR generalist and will lead and oversee all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, payroll, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and HRIS.

Success in this role will include growth in positive employee culture and strong employee morale through consistent application of HR policies, procedures, practices, and compliance with all federal, state and local government regulations related to the HR function.  

In-office position for the first year, may consider hybrid work thereafter.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or business-related field required.  
  • 10 years of HR generalist experience, including minimum 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience to include responsibility for talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations and payroll. 
  • Equivalent combination of education and job-related experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/Time Keeping Systems (ADP preferred), Performance Management System (Cornerstone preferred), and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
  • Thorough understanding of the local Hawaii culture and business environment with experience in leading diverse ethnicities and backgrounds in a white-collar office environment.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources – SPHR/PHR and/or SHRM-SCP/CP preferred.
  • Position performs occasional driving and therefore requires a valid Hawaii Driver’s License and access to usage of a personal vehicle that is legally registered and insured.

Salary Range: $120,000.00 To $150,000.00 Annually
